Russia Offers Fire-Fighting Assistance to Croatia, BiH

International assistance offered to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to tackle the devastating forest fires.

As Croatia continues to bake and with forest fires still raging, Russian news agency TASS has reported that Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov has offered assistance to both Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in tackling the blazes, including firefighting aircraft.

In telegrams to both countries, Puchkov said his ministry was ready to immediately dispatch aircraft and equipment, inluding Il-76 and Be-200 aircraft, experts and fully-equipped rescue teams.
