World Bank Supports Croatia in Waste Management Programme

ZAGREB, Sept 29, 2020 - World Bank (WB) Country Manager for Croatia, Elisabetta Capannelli and Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Tomislav Coric signed an agreement on Tuesday whereby the bank will support Croatia in transforming its waste management system, the WB stated. As part of its technical support, the principle of circular waste management will be built into Croatia's Waste Management Plan after 2022 in line with EU directives and package of measures for circular waste management, the WB said in a press release. HGK Head Calls for More Flexible Labour Legislation

AD Plastik Seals New Deals for Car Parts Manufacture

ZAGREB, Sept 28, 2020 - Croatian plastic car parts manufacturer AD Plastik said on Monday it had sealed several new deals with carmakers that would be carried out in the coming years. The company, based in the southern town of Solin, has agreed with the PSA Group the manufacture of grab handles for the Peugeot 308. 29 Contracts on Development of Beef Cattle Breeding Signed

ZAGREB, Sept 25, 2020 - Agriculture Minister Marija Vuckovic on Friday attended the signing of 29 new contracts, worth HRK 9.4 million, with beneficiaries from five Slavonian counties for investments in cattle breeding. Contracts worth more than 805 million kuna have been signed, funding worth HRK 545 million has been paid and 495 investment projects have been signed as part of the Rural Development Programme in Brod-Posavina County alone, which Vuckovic visited today.
