August Sees 24% Yearly Drop in New Car Sales

ZAGREB, September 7, 2020 - In August 2020, 2,599 new passenger cars were sold in Croatia, down 24% on the year, while 25,167 new vehicles have been sold this year so far, down 47% on 2019, the Promocija Plus market search agency said on Monday. Volkswagen sold the most new vehicles in the first eight months of 2020 (3,919) and it holds 15.5% of the market.
