Gross International Reserves Reach €24.5 Bn, New Record Amount

ZAGREB, 8 Nov, 2021 - Croatia's gross international reserves reached €24.5 billion in October 2021, their new highest level to date, increasing by €100 million or 0.6% from September, according to the data provided by the Croatian National Bank (HNB). Since the start of the year, gross international reserves have increased by €5.5 billion or 29.3%. Compared to October 2020, they are €6.34 billion higher. Enterprises in 4 Urban Agglomerations Net HRK 16.2 bn in Profit in 2020

ZAGREB, 7 Nov 2021 - In 2020, enterprises in the Osijek, Rijeka, Split, and Zagreb urban agglomerations netted HRK 16.2 billion in profits, or 77% of the profits of all enterprises in Croatia, according to an analysis by the Financial Agency. The agglomerations were established in 2015 and 2016 under a decision of the Regional Development and EU Funds Ministry. In 2020, the biggest consolidated net profit was generated by enterprises in the Zagreb urban agglomeration (HRK 14.3 billion), followed by Osijek (HRK 804.1 million), Split (HRK 631.6m), and Rijeka (HRK 399.8m). Concession Agreement for Zagreb Deep Sea Terminal Signed

ZAGREB, 5 Nov 2021 - An agreement on a concession to develop and commercially use the Zagreb Deep Sea container terminal in the Port of Rijeka, estimated at HRK 20 billion (€2.7 billion), with the concession fee fixed at €2 million annually for a period of 50 years, was signed in Rijeka on Friday. 28.4% More Cars Sold in 10 Months Y-O-Y

ZAGREB, 5 Nov 2021 - In the first ten months of this year, 40,245 new passenger vehicles were sold, up 28.4% on the year, whereas in October alone 2,853 cars were sold, down 7.8% on the year, the Promocija Plus market research agency said on Friday. The most popular brand this year to date has been the Opel Corsa, with 1,796 cars sold, followed by the Škoda Octavia (1,614), Dacia Duster (1,377), Volkswagen T-Cross (1,360), Dacia Sandero (1,085), and the Volkswagen T-Roc (1,015). ZSE Indices Weaken Amid Modest Trading

ZAGREB, 4 Nov 2021 - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices fell by 0.6% on Thursday, a day after edging up from the lowest level in a month. The Crobex dropped by 0.64% to 2,004 points and the Crobex10  by 0.63% to 1,235 points.
