Small Dairy Farms In Hardhsip Receive Hrk 2.5 Mn In Assistance

ZAGREB, June 8, 2020 - The Ministry of Agriculture has informed that the call for applications for assistance for small dairy farms as a temporary measure due to difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, has been closed as the foreseen amount of HRK 2.5 million earmarked for that measure has been expended. The ministry said on its web site that as of June 5 no more applications will be received for this temporary measure that was introduced to relieve the impact of the novel coronavirus on small dairy farmers. EC Approves Croatia's Support Scheme For Energy-Intensive Companies

ZAGREB, June 8, 2020 - The European Commission on Monday approved under EU State aid rules, a Croatian scheme that grants reductions to energy-intensive companies on a surcharge to finance support for renewable electricity production.  Croatian support for renewable energy is at present financed through contributions from electricity consumers, based on their consumption. New Car Sales Drop By 76% In May

ZAGREB, June 5, 2020 - A total of 2,173 new cars were sold in Croatia in May 2020, which is 76% fewer than in May 2019 when 9,149 vehicles were sold, according to data from the Promocija Plus market research agency. Government Set to Restart Shipbuilding in Pula through Uljanik Brodogradnja 1856

ZAGREB, June 4, 2020 - The government on Thursday adopted a conclusion expressing its readiness to get involved in creating conditions to restart shipbuilding in the northern coastal city of Pula through the Uljanik Brodogradnja 1856 company.
