Croatia Has Almost 177,000 Active Business Entities
ZAGREB, 11 Nov, 2021 - At the end of September 2021, there were 303,535 business entities registered in Croatia, of which 58.2% were active, according to data from the national statistical office. The majority of registered entities were trade companies (227,194), of which 140,976 were active. There were 72,754 institutions, bodies, associations and organisations, including 34,844 active ones, 3,578 cooperatives, including 848 active ones, and 91,084 entities in crafts and trades and free lances. State Selling Share in Ston Saltworks Which Has Been Operating Since 14th Century

Marić: 2023 Realistic Year for Croatia's Euro Area Entry

Croatia's Jan-Sept 2021 Exports Increase by 24.9%, Imports by 20.6%
ZAGREB, 9 November, 2021 - Croatia's commodity exports reached HRK 100.3 billion in the first nine months of 2021, which is an increase of 24.9% compared with the same period of 2020, while imports rose by 20.6% to HRK 153.4 billion, according to initial data published by the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) on Tuesday. The foreign trade deficit increased by HRK 6.2 billion to HRK 53.1 billion. Coverage of imports by exports was 65.4%.
