'Everybody Has a Story' Photographic Exhibition Opens in Split to Celebrate Local and Expat Women

June 8, 2022 - Everybody has a Story is a photographic exhibition showcasing 36 photographs of women from all walks of life in Croatia, created during a 12-month period between 2021 and 2022. The photos present the female body in "All Her Glory”, and open up the discourse about the stories our bodies hold. Everybody has a Story is a conceptual project by occasional TCN contributor Tash Peričić, in collaboration with Split photographer Antea Mrčela-Ljubić. Teachers Need to Be Educated About Students' Mental Health

ZAGREB, 7 June 2022 - Nearly three-quarters of school staff do not know how to recognize problems related to students' mental health or how to help them even though they would like to do so, hence they need to be educated, it was said on Tuesday ahead of this year's UNICEF Milky Way charity race. 56% of Young People in Croatia Didn't Access Pirated Material in Last Year

ZAGREB, 7 June 2022 - Fifty-six percent of persons aged 15-24 in Croatia did not access pirated content over the past year, while 28% did so intentionally, according to a European Union Intellectual Property Office survey. Of those who did so intentionally, 77% accessed films, followed by TV series and shows (68%), music (48%), software (45%), live sport events (34%), videogames (41%), and e-books (21%). Thirty-one percent of respondents in Croatia intentionally bought a fake product, most often clothes and accessories (12%), electronic devices (8%), shoes (7%), and cosmetics, perfumes, and personal care products (5%). Works by Salvador Dali Exhibited in Opatija

ZAGREB, 6 June 2022 - An exhibition of about 100 works by Salvador Dali was on Monday staged in Opatija's Juraj Šporer Art Pavilion and will run through 20 September. The exhibition includes drawings, etchings, and lithographs owned by a private collector from Bonn who does not want his identity to be known. Animafest Zagreb Starts

PEPSEA Project: WebGIS System for Marine Pollution Management Created
