Gradac Municipality Investing 1.5 Million Kuna in Waterfront Revamp
May the 18th, 2022 - The Gradac Municipality has decided to invest 1.5 million kuna in giving the waterfront a bit of a facelift of sorts, as part of a wider plan totalling approximately 5 million kuna. Croatia Allocates Nearly €29m for Promoting Children Rights until 2026
ZAGREB, 17 May 2022 - The Croatian government has decided to make available nearly 216 million kuna (€28.8 million) for the implementation of the National Children's Rights Plan until 2026. Apart of the adoption of the national plan, also a 2024 action plan has been endorsed, envisaging allocation of HRK 117.3 million on aggregate, HRK 19 million in 2022, and HRK 49.1 million in 2023 and 2024 each. HGSS Rescue Helicopters On Standby as of 1 May
ZAGREB, 16 May 2022 - An increasing number of mountain climbers and tourists in non-urban areas made the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS) put its helicopters on standby as of 1 May, one month earlier than usual and they will remain on alert until 30 October, HGSS reported on Monday. 20th Queer Zagreb to Take Place Between 24 May and 5 June
ZAGREB, 15 May 2022 - The 20th edition of the Queer Zagreb festival will take place between 24 May and 5 June at several venues in the city, with 100 artists and activists from around the world dealing with a wide range of topics, including sex work, global violence, the body against nationalist violence and the embrace.
