'Everybody Has a Story' Photographic Exhibition Opens in Split to Celebrate Local and Expat Women

Croatian Basketball Championship Finals: Zadar's Win against Cibona Enforces Final Game Five

2021/22 HNL Second Highest Scorer Josip Drmić Signs with Dinamo from Rijeka

June 8, 2022 -  Josip Drmić is a new Dinamo player. The 29-year-old striker has signed a professional contract with the Croatian champions and will join the first team at a gathering in mid-June. EIZ: Labour Demand in May Exceeds Pre-Pandemic Levels

ZAGREB, 7 June 2022 - The Online Vacancy Index (OVI) has been rising for 15 consecutive months -- in May 2022, labor demand was 43% higher than in May 2021 and 25% higher than in May 2019, so labor demand has significantly gone up compared with the pre-pandemic period, the Zagreb Institute of Economics (EIZ) said on Tuesday. Harald Kopitz Sentenced to 50 Years for Killing His Three Children

June 7, 2022 - Harald Kopitz (57) pleaded guilty today to killing his three children. Kopitz's trial began behind closed doors today at the Zagreb County Court on charges that he killed his three children in an apartment last September. At 14:00, the court announced that Kopitz had been sentenced to 50 years in prison, which is the maximum prison sentence in Croatia. For the death of each child individually, he was given 27 years. A five-member court panel headed by Judge Iva Gradiška Lovreček handed down the verdict in one day, reports Index.hr. Central Bank Governor Says 2022 Inflation Could Be 9%

ZAGREB, 7 June 2022 - Inflation in 2022 could reach 9%, which is higher than the current IMF estimate of 6%, Croatian National Bank (HNB) Governor Boris Vujčić said at the conference "Eurotransformation of Croatia", organised by Motus Media Group in Zagreb on Tuesday.
