Matea Jelić and Tonči Stipanović Named Croatia's Best Athletes in 2021

December 22, 2021 - Olympic taekwondo gold medalist Matea Jelić and Olympic sailing silver medalist Tonči Stipanović were named Croatia's best athletes in 2021 by the Croatian Olympic Committee, The awards were presented at the Great Day of Croatian Sports celebration in the Crystal Hall of The Westin in Zagreb. Valamar and E.ON Launch Largest Solar Power Plant Project in Croatia

December 22, 2022 - The most ambitious solar power plant project in Croatia has been launched, implemented by Valamar and E.ON Solar, which operate within the E.ON Croatia Group. The cooperation between E.ON and Valamar included the installation of solar power plants at 26 Valamar hotels and camps along the Adriatic coast, which covers 5 percent of Valamar's total electricity needs, reports HRTurizam. Pandemic Protocols are Legitimate, Constitutional Court Finds

ZAGREB, 21 December, 2021 - The Constitutional Court decided on Tuesday the pandemic protocols are legitimate, rejecting motions to assess the constitutionality of the powers of the national COVID-19 crisis management team, the COVID certificate mandate, and the testing mandate for healthcare and social welfare staff. Croatia Logs 2,803 New Coronavirus Cases, 47 Deaths

ZAGREB, 21 Dec 2021 - Croatia has registered 2,803 new coronavirus cases and 47 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Tuesday. Currently, there are 19,477 active cases in the country. Among them are 2,148 infected persons receiving hospital treatment and 263 of them are on ventilators. A total of 18,665 people are self-isolating.
