ZAGREB, 28 December, 2021 - The Croatian Red Cross (HCK) recalled on Tuesday that a year ago, after the first of several Sisak-Moslavina County earthquakes, one of the HCK's biggest operations began, involving over 5,000 volunteers and 1,600 staff to help more than 100,000 people. Addressing a press conference called on the anniversary of the first earthquake which rocked the Petrinja area, executive president Robert Markt said the HCK would be on the ground until the last earthquake victim had a firm roof over their head.
