Osijek-Munich Flights Connect to 6 European Destinations

October 16, 2021 - Osijek-Munich flights now connect to 6 European destinations after a short transfer in the Bavarian capital.  After Croatia Airlines announced it would introduce a regular route between Osijek and Munich, tickets are now available to purchase to 6 more international destinations,  reports Croatian Aviation.  With one transfer in Munich, passengers from or to Osijek can now buy tickets to 6 European destinations - Copenhagen, Brussels, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris, and Dublin. Greenpeace Collecting Signatures for Fossil Fuel Advertising Ban in Rijeka

ZAGREB, 16 Oct, 2021 - Greenpeace activists on Saturday held a news conference in the northern Adriatic port of Rijeka, warning that INA's gas platform Ivana D, which sank into the sea a year ago, was still in the Adriatic. The activists warned that the gas infrastructure was obsolete and called on the Croatian authorities to deal with the problem. Hospitals Need Strong Wall of Anti-epidemic Measures, Says Minister

Strategy Envisages €7.5 Billion of Investments in Agriculture in Next 10 Years

Trade Union Says 23.2% of Croatians at Risk of Poverty

ZAGREB, 16 Oct, 2021 - The poverty risk rate in Croatia in 2020 was 18.3%, 23.2% of Croatians were at risk of poverty and the rate of severe material deprivation was 6.9%, the NHS trade union federation warned on Saturday, on the occasion of the International Day to Eradicate Poverty, 17 October.
