Zagreb Stock Exchange Indices Up For Second Day in a Row

ZAGREB, 9 June, 2021 - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices rose on Wednesday for the second day in a row amid modest trading. The Crobex gained 0.43% to reach 1,958.03 points, its highest level in nearly a month, while the Crobex10 rose by 0.56% to 1,210.84 points, its highest level since the end of February 2020. Turnover at the close of the trading session was HRK 4.5 million, about 600,000 higher than on Tuesday. None of the stocks passed the turnover mark of one million kuna. Arrested Osijek Judges Sent to Zagreb For USKOK Questioning

ZAGREB, 9 June, 2021 - The three judges of Osijek County Court who were arrested on suspicion of graft on Wednesday morning have been transferred to Zagreb for questioning by the Office for Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK). Croatia Logs 275 New Coronavirus Cases, 7 Fatalities

ZAGREB, 9 June, 2021 - In the past 24 hours Croatia has logged 275 new coronavirus cases and seven people have died as a consequence, the national COVID-19 response team reported on Wednesday. There are 1,330 active cases in the country, including 520 hospitalised patients, 51 of whom are on ventilators. Croatia has registered 358,061 cases of the novel coronavirus since it was first identified in the county on 25 February 2020 and 8,103 people have died as a consequence.
