Pupovac Says Church Broken into for Gain, Not on Ethnic Grounds

ZAGREB, 6 March, 2021 - Serb National Council president Milorad Pupovac on Saturday visited a Serbian Orthodox Church in Šibenik which was robbed the night before, saying he was confident it was not done to hurt Orthodox believers but for gain. An unknown perpetrator broke into the church and took about HRK 100 in donations, county police said, while the Eparchy of Dalmatia said that major damage was caused. SDP Candidate for Dubrovnik Mayor Turns Himself in after Threatening Neighbour

ZAGREB, 7, March 2021 - Local media said on Saturday the Social Democratic Party's candidate for mayor of Dubrovnik, Jadran Barač, turned himself in to the police this afternoon after threatening a neighbour. After Barač, the neighbour arrived at the local police station as well and pressed charges against him for making threats. Ministry Sells HRK 1.32bn Worth of Treasury Bonds

ZAGREB, 2 March 2021 - The Finance Ministry on Tuesday sold HRK 1.32 billion worth of treasury notes at an auction, HRK 120 million more than planned, including treasury bonds with six months' maturity that were sold without interest. In advance of the maturity of HRK 1.21 billion worth of treasury bonds, the Ministry offered HRK 1.2 billion for subscription, HRK 1 billion with a maturity of one year and HRK 200 million with six months' maturity.
