109 Bridges Throughout Croatia To Be Inspected

ZAGREB, 19 Dec, 2021 - The state-run Croatian road operator Hrvatske Ceste (HC) is about to start inspecting 109 bridges throughout the country, according to a report released recently by the Večernji List daily. The network of state roads in Croatia includes over 1,000 bridges with one or more spans with the length of five or more metres. In 1995, when the legislation on this matter was adopted, the HC company introduced a system for the maintenance and supervision of roads and road structures. Red Cross Croatia Starts Distributing Christmas Gifts to Banovina Children

ZAGREB, 19 Dec, 2021 - The Red Cross Croatia on Sunday started distributing 800 Christmas gifts for children from earthquake-affected and destitute families in Sisak-Moslavina County. BiH Official: No Information on Security Threats to Croatian President

Croatia Logs 1,936 New COVID-19 Cases, 51 Deaths

ZAGREB, 19 Dec, 2021 - Croatia has registered 1,936 new coronavirus cases and 51 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Sunday. Currently, there are 22,606 active cases in the country. Among them are 2,167 infected persons receiving hospital treatment and 269 of them are on ventilators.
