Prelog among Best Towns in Europe in Terms of Sustainable Waste Management

ZAGREB, 17 Dec 2021  - The Zero Waste Europe network has published new best sustainable waste management practices in Europe, which include those in the northern Croatian town of Prelog and 11 neighbouring municipalities, the Green Action NGO said on Friday. Croatia Becomes Member of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

ZAGREB, 17 Dec 2021 - Croatia on Friday became a full non-regional member of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the Ministry of Finance said. The AIIB is an international development bank headquartered in Beijing, established in 2015 to support sustainable economic development, create wealth and improve infrastructure connectivity in the Asia-Pacific region. The Bank has a high AAA/Aaa rating and a capital of $100 billion. Exhibition of Artefacts from 6th Century BC Tumulus Opened

ZAGREB, 17 Dec 2021 - An exhibition of artefacts found in a burial mound in Jalžabet dating back to the sixth century BC was opened at the Croatian History Institute on Friday. Bankers Forecast Croatia's Growth at 9.5% in 2021 and 4.6% in 2022

ZAGREB, 17 Dec 2021 - The Croatian economy is expected to grow at a rate of 9.5% in 2021 and 4.6% in 2022, the Croatian Banking Association (HUB) said on Friday, citing projections by the four largest banks in Croatia. Croatia's Annual Inflation Rate Reaches 4.8% in Nov., Highest since Feb. 2013

ZAGREB, 17 Dec 2021 - Prices of consumer goods and services in Croatia, as measured by the consumer price index, increased by 4.8% in November 2021 compared with November 2020, their highest rise since February 2013, the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) said on Friday. Compared with October 2021, consumer prices rose by 0.7%. The highest year-on-year price increase was observed in transport, of 12.9%. It was largely generated by fuel price increases, of 26.6% on an annual level, reflecting increases in global prices of crude oil. All other categories also recorded annual price increases.
