In the middle of the southern side of the island of Lastovo, at the entrance to the bay of Skrivena Luka (hidden bay) lies Cape Struga where the lighthouse with the same name was built in 1839. The lighthouse sits at the height of 70 m, at the very edge of a steep cliff that offers a splendid view of the open sea. It has accommodation available for rent, with total capacity of 14 persons divided in four apartments for 2-5 persons. It is heated and open all year long.
The swimming area with deep waters that belongs to the lighthouse can be found at the bottom of the lighthouse driveway and is surrounded by pine trees. You can also go swimming on splendid rocky beaches in some of the numerous secluded bays where waters are relatively shallow.
