Martin and Valent Sinković receive a personal message of congratulations from the Prime Minister.
Croatia is no stranger to sporting talent, nor is it unaccustomed to winning medal after medal and award after award recognising this gift. In this, the latest of a very, very long series of success, the Prime Minister extends heartfelt congratulations on behalf of himself and the Government of the Republic of Croatia as a whole to the talented duo.
As Vecernji List reports on the 1st of October, 2017, the talented Sinković brothers wrote themselves into yet another page of Croatia's long sporting history, winning the silver medal in the finals at the World Rowing Championship in the United States.
"Dear Valent and Martin, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and myself personally, I heartily and sincerely congratulate you on winning the silver medal at the World Rowing Championships. Your success is especially important because you've become the runners up in a discipline that is still new to you. Thank you for this brilliant result with which you've once again confirmed [yourselves] to be top sportsmen. I wish you [both] good luck and many other great athletic achievements in life,'' stated Andrej Plenković in a brief but warm message of obvious pride.
As Valent Sinković says: ''There's no secret, you just listen to the coach and you put in a lot of work!''
