Split wins in Final 8 Tournament of Croatian Futsal Cup

The Croatian Futsal Cup Final tournament has finished with the final game on April 23. 2016 in Zagreb, and it was Split Tommy that took the Cup after a win against the reigning national champions Nacional with a 4-2 scoreline.

The Split's team success is even bigger as they won against three home teams on their path to the title, winning against Futsal Dinamo in the quarterfinals, Uspinjača in the semiss, and finally Nacional in the deciding match.

The final match was a great one to watch, and the away team started the game furiously, getting in front 3-0 in the first nine minutes of the finals. Bajrušović, Suton, and Perišić were the scorers.

Novak gave some hope to Nacional in the tenth minute, but when Grcić scored for 4-1 just before the half-time, it took just some organized defending by the quests in the second to secure the celebrations for them. The hosts scored one goal in the second half but have failed to do more to stop Split on the path to glory.
