Viewing of World Cup Final at Pula Arena

Pula Arena will screen the final showdown between Croatia and France tomorrow.

Feel like watching the World Cup final in one of the most beautiful summer venues on the Adriatic coast? Morski writes on the 13th of July, 2018, that the stunning Pula Arena will be open to football fans on Sunday to watch the final battle between Croatia and France.

''I'm pleased to announce that a direct transfer of the final match of the World Cup in Russia will be organised on Sunday at Pula Arena, between Croatia and France. Many fans will be able to follow one of the most important sports moments in the modern history of Croatia on a huge LED screen in the phenomenal ambience of our arena. I believe that this will be a memorable event, so I'm inviting all the fans to join us in the celebration,'' announced Pula Mayor Boris Miletić at a press conference.

On this occasion, the mayor thanked everyone who participated in the organisation involved in getting the stunning setting ready for fans, primarily the leadership of the Pula Film Festival on their understanding, given the fact that the 65th edition of the famed Pula Film Festival began on Saturday, July the 14th.

The director of the Pula Film Festival, Gordana Restovic, emphasised that the screenings of the film that were scheduled for the Pula Film Festival on that day will obviously not be held in the arena now, but will be shown the same day at the Istrian National Theatre, Pula City Theatre.

The entrance to the arena will be free and the doors will be open to the public at 15:00, special traffic regulations will also come into force from 15:00 onwards, and all of streets near the arena will be closed for all traffic for the duration of the event.

The local police invites all fans and visitors to come and proudly watch and support the Croatian national team, kindly appealing for fans to take care of their own and other people's safety, and to remain civilised and behave correctly without causing any incidents.
