More good news for the Croatian capital on December 13 2016 - once more the best Christmas market in Europe, according to the vote on European Best Destinations.

On 10 December, 2016, The Guardian continued their love affair with Croatia and included Zagreb among the top 10 European cities for a short winter break, describing it as one of the youngest but also one of the most fascinating capitals of Europe.

As voting closes on December 12, 2016 to decide the best Christmas market in Europe 2017, defending champions Zagreb are in a strong position to defend their title, especially with a significant expansion of the 2015 offer.
