Croatia to Export Dairy Products, Tuna and Poultry to China

ZAGREB, June 17, 2018 - Croatian dairy companies have expressed interest in exporting their products to the Chinese market, which is why Chinese inspectors are supposed to come in Croatia and visit certain food-manufacturing companies by the end of this year so as to have an insight into production, particularly in dairy and poultry farms, according to information which Hina has obtained from the Croatian Agriculture Ministry.

China Welcomes Pelješac Bridge Decision

ZAGREB, March 26, 2018 - The appeals against the selection of the bid by a Chinese consortium to build the Pelješac Bridge were rejected because the State Commission for Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures (DKOM) found that the contracting authority, road operator Hrvatske Ceste, had not violated the public procurement procedure, DKOM chairman Goran Matešić said on Monday.

Chinese Tourists Interested in Eastern Croatia

ZAGREB, March 7, 2018 - Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli said at the international tourist industry trade fair ITB Berlin on Wednesday that five eastern Croatian counties were planning to form an association of the Slavonia region as a Destination Management Organisation to boost tourism development.
