Israeli Drones to Monitor Fishing in Adriatic

ZAGREB, May 15, 2018 - The Croatian Ministry of Agriculture and the Israeli company Aeronautics on Tuesday signed an agreement valued at 4.87 million euro, 70% of which will be financed from EU funds, for the procurement of drones to monitor fishing activities.

Israeli Embassy and Jewish Community Rescind Invitation to Hasanbegović

ZAGREB, May 15, 2018 – Former Croatian Culture Minister Zlatko Hasanbegović, who is a member of the Croatian parliament and who has been declared persona non-grata by the Jewish community in Bosnia and Herzegovina because of his stance toward the Ustasha regime, has had an invitation to attend the award ceremony in Sarajevo awarding posthumously his grandfather Sabrija Prohić rescinded.

Government Adopts Final Decision to Buy Israeli F-16 Jets

ZAGREB, March 29, 2018 - The Croatian government on Thursday unanimously adopted a decision on the procurement of 12 F-16 C/D Barak fighter jets that will cost Croatia 2.9 billion kuna over a ten year period, and Defence Minister Damir Krstičević said this was one of the biggest decision made in the defence sector after the 1990s Homeland War.

Defence Council Accepts Israel's Fighter Jet Offer

ZAGREB, March 28, 2018 - Croatia's Council for Defence, at its meeting on Tuesday evening, accepted Israel's offer of multipurpose fighter jets as the most favourable one and recommended to the government to decide accordingly, a government statement said.
