Mixed Picture for Croatian Industry

ZAGREB, April 27, 2018 - Croatia's industrial turnover in February 2018 dropped by 5.8% from the previous month and increased by 1.7% compared with February 2017, according to figures released by the State Bureau of Statistics (DZS) on Friday.

Exports Decline, Imports Rise Substantially

ZAGREB, April 9, 2018 - Croatia's commodity exports in the first two months this year totalled 15.53 billion kuna, which was 1.6% lower compared to the corresponding period of 2017, whereas the imports amounted to 26.18 billion kuna, or 9.7% more year-on-year, according to the preliminary figures released by the national statistical office (DZS) on Monday.

New Car Sales Increase 64% in March

ZAGREB, April 8, 2018 - A total of 6,293 new cars were sold in Croatia in March 2018, which is 2,453 units or 64% more than in the previous month and 873 units or 16% more than in March 2017, according to figures from the Promocija Plus market research agency.

Consumption Growth Slows Down
