MEP Jakovčić: “There Is No Alternative to Europe”

ZAGREB, May 8, 2018 - Croatian Member of European Parliament Ivan Jakovčić of the Istrian Democratic Party said in Pula on Tuesday that calls to exit the EU definitely meant the impoverishment of Croatian citizens and that Europe is not ideal, but that there is no alternative.

European Parliament Shows Support for Croatia’s Tourism Initiative

ZAGREB, March 29, 2018 - The European Parliament has made a recommendation to the European Commission's Economic and Financial Committee for the establishment of a special financial line for tourism in the next multi-annual financial framework, Croatia's Tourism Ministry reported on Thursday, considering this to be a sign of support for Croatia and Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli's initiative for setting up such a financial line.

ZAGREB, March 22, 2018 - Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Biljana Borzan of Croatia's Social Democratic Party (SDP) on Wednesday won the MEP Award or the so-called EU Oscar, which is given every year to the most successful members of the European Parliament in 18 categories.
