International Red Cross Chief Visits Zagreb

ZAGREB, February 22, 2018 - Yves Daccord, Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), on Wednesday called on former Yugoslav countries to step up their efforts in shedding light on the fate of people gone missing in the 1990s wars, noting that it was high time to solve that humanitarian issue.

Missing Persons Issue a Priority in Croatia-Serbia Relations

ZAGREB, February 21, 2018 - The issue of missing persons from the 1991-1995 war is of paramount importance to Croatia and the number one issue in its relations with Serbia, Foreign and European Affairs Minister Marija Pejčinović Burić said on Wednesday, recalling that Croatia was still looking for 1,945 persons unaccounted for from the war.

Serbian President to Meet with Families of Missing Croatian Soldiers

ZAGREB, February 16, 2018 - Families of Croatian soldiers listed as missing from the 1991-1995 Homeland War and associations of civilian war victims will meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić next week and seek information from Serbian archives that might shed light on the fate of their loved ones, the Croatian Federation of Associations of Families of Missing Soldiers and Prisoners of War announced in a statement on Thursday.
