ZAGREB, April 24, 2018 - Bosnia and Herzegovina is against the construction of the Pelješac bridge in Croatia before the two countries settle their outstanding border issues and that has been the country's position for more than ten years, reads a statement the Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's collective Presidency Bakir Izetbegović sent the media on Monday, following the signing of a contract on the start of construction work on the Pelješac bridge.
The documentation suggests that the Chinese can provide up to 40 percent of subcontractors, equal to just over 100 million euro.

ZAGREB, April 17, 2018 - The Austrian construction company Strabag on Monday confirmed that it had filed a complaint with the Administrative Court in Zagreb against the selection of the China Road and Bridge Corporation to build the Pelješac Bridge and access roads, the largest infrastructure project in Croatia.

ZAGREB, March 26, 2018 - The appeals against the selection of the bid by a Chinese consortium to build the Pelješac Bridge were rejected because the State Commission for Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures (DKOM) found that the contracting authority, road operator Hrvatske Ceste, had not violated the public procurement procedure, DKOM chairman Goran Matešić said on Monday.
ZAGREB, March 26, 2018 - The State Commission for Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures (DKOM) has turned down as unfounded the appeals by the Austrian construction company Strabag and the consortium of the Italian company Astaldi and Turkey's IC Ictas Isaat Sanayi against the selection of the bidder for the construction of the Pelješac Bridge and access roads. The decision was made public on the DKOM's website on Monday.
