On the eve of Velika Gospa, the sanctuary of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj has announced the schedule of worship and important information for the event, which will be held from August 7 to 15.

It’s not often that events are held for over 300 years in a row, but lucky for us we have the Sinjska Alka to carry the tradition. An event that has been held every first Sunday in August since 1717, the 301st Sinjska Alka begins today, August 7 at 16.30h.
Aeroklub Sinj and the city of Sinj are proudly hosting the second annual Sinj Air Show, which will be held on August 20 at airport Piket (airport Sinj). The event will begin at 10h.
“Sinjski sajam sela”, known otherwise as a rural products fair, begins today for its 7th edition. The fair will last through August 6 and will be held at Trg dr. Franje Tuđman in Sinj.
For the ongoing event "Days of Alka and the Assumption", tonight will hold a very special performance by one of Sinj's favorites - Sinj Majorettes! “Evening with the Sinj Majorettes and Guests” will be held tonight event at 21h.
For the 60th anniversary of the Museum of Cetina Region - Sinj, the exhibition 'Pokrenimo muzejske zbirke' which presents selected collections from the museum's exhibitions as part of the permanent exhibition, will be displayed. The exhibition will open this evening at 20h.
The famous Sinj Assumption (Sinj Velika Gospa) takes place this month on August 15th. As with any celebrated event, there is a schedule of activities, beginning as early as the night before the assumption.
As part of “Days of Alka and the Assumption”, gallery Galiotović will host the exhibition ‘Vlak bez voznog reda – sinjska veza' (Train without a schedule - the Sinj connection). The exhibition is jointly organized by the Cultural and Artistic Center of Sinj and the Croatian Cultural Association “HKD Vladimir Nazor”. The exhibition will be held from July 29-30.
Tonight, beginning at 18.30h on Šetalište Alojzija Stepinca, the final exhibition of children's artworks will be displayed as part of the 8th cultural summer program for kids “Ljeto je eto, a šta sad?”.
