Organized by the Agency for the Development of Split-Dalmatia County - RERA SD, as part of the AdriaWealth International Movie Convention, various cities in the Dalmatian hinterland were visited by over 40 representatives of tourist workers, hoteliers, guides, agencies and journalists in an effort to boost the tourism offer in the inland region. TCN was fortunate to take part in the convention, which took place from September 28-30, 2016.
On Monday afternoon, the town famous for the Alka begins their 7th Festival of Science in Sinj (FZS). The previous six editions of this festival, which was launched by physics students Mislav Cvitković and Mate Jagnjić, hosted the 50 most prominent Croatian scientists primarily in natural and social sciences.

Over the weekend, about 50 participants joined the 9th international oldtimer automobile meeting "Salona 2016". Participants first gathered in Solin, then moved along to showcase their automobiles at the Sinj airport.
Perhaps not an Olympic story, but one certainly worth mentioning - several members from the adventure sports club "Cetina Adventure" represented Croatian colors in the Czech town of Litovel for the “Spartan Race”. The race took place on August 20th.
Organized by KUD Krenica, the local board of Gala and MNK Gala, a football tournament and folk festival will be hosted this weekend in Gala.
“Frooom!”, a film workshop for children, comes to Sinj for the first time this year. Frooom! is a workshop where parents in Sinj can offer full-day educational and creative workshops for their children.
