ZAGREB, May 11, 2018 - The head of the Security and Intelligence Agency (SOA) Daniel Markić said on Friday that the agency is engaged in efforts to make the situation surrounding "the so-called e-mail scandal" clear and is giving law enforcement authorities, including the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, full support.
ZAGREB, March 16, 2018 - An international security forum opened in Zagreb on Friday, focusing on ways of identifying and dealing with cyber and energy security challenges and different forms of hybrid warfare, with the aim of defining ways of organising and protecting critical infrastructure. The two-day forum was organised by the Institute for Hybrid Conflict Research and the association "Sv. Juraj".
In 2016, there were at least seven attempts of state-sponsored cyberattacks on protected information and communication systems of Croatia’s state institutions.
The decision was made as a result of recent terrorist attack in Berlin.
According to the Agency, “Croatia is a safe country”.
In an interview, Prime Minister Tihomir Orešković also discussed relations within the ruling coalition.
