This is the first time Split-Dalmatia County has done such a project. 

ZAGREB, May 5, 2018 - Prime Minister Andrej Plenković on Friday said that his cabinet would do all it can to see that conclusions and agreements, valued at more than two billion kuna, should be implemented and thus contribute to developing Split and Split-Dalmatia County.

ZAGREB, May 4, 2018 - The Croatian government was meeting in the southern coastal city of Split on Friday to decide on a number of projects of importance to the city and the county and Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said that this was a strong message to that area.

"The trend will continue in the years ahead of us, and people from Western and Northern Europe will be coming to Dalmatia more.”

The study will reveal how many tourists Split can endure, when the city has reached its peak, and how much time is left to take measures.

ZAGREB, March 26, 2018 - A project for the construction of the Lećevica Waste Management Centre (CGO) in Split-Dalmatia County has been listed as a strategic project of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, and assistant environment and energy protection minister Anamarija Matak will lead the project.

Split-Dalmatia County has decided to suspend the controversial project.

The study should be completed by the spring of 2018.

Fires are currently burning in three places around Split-Dalmatia County.
