SDP Leader Criticises Government, Živi Zid

ZAGREB, April 30, 2018 - Despite polls indicating that the Social Democratic Party's (SDP) rating is falling while that of Živi Zid is growing and is within 4% of the SDP, the party's leader Davor Bernardić said on Monday that the SDP is growing and strengthening whereas the Živi Zid is a protest party that doesn't have a stance on important matters such as anti-fascism, violence against women, relations with the Church, religious instruction in schools, abortion or the LGBT community.

Živi Zid Proposes Minimum Guaranteed Pension

ZAGREB, March 30, 2018 - The leader of the opposition Živi Zid party, Ivan Vilibor Sinčić, said on Friday that after Easter his party would submit bill to parliament on minimum guaranteed pensions, including a national old age allowance to help people who do not meet retirement conditions and have fewer than 15 years of service.

Opposition Calls for Government Resignations over Agrokor

ZAGREB, February 21, 2018 – MOST party leader Božo Petrov said on Wednesday that, in the wake of the resignation of emergency administrator in the ailing Agrokor food and retail conglomerate, Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Martina Dalić should also step down, and he called on Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to propose a new candidate for Agrokor's emergency administrator to contain further damage.
