First Conference of the Association of Croatian American Professionals Taking Place in Washington

Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarović confirmed as one of the keynote speakers.

1st in-person conference of the Association of Croatian American Professionals will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016, at the Embassy Row Hotel in Washington DC. 

According to the official press release sent by the Association, the aim of the conference is to identify useful contributions that could strengthen collaborations and prosperity between Croatian-American professionals and the United States and Croatia.

The conference is organized by the Association of Croatian American Professionals  in cooperation with the Croatian Embassy in the United States  and Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarović is now confirmed as a special guest speaker as well as Mark Begich, Former United States Senator of Alaska, United States Government.

The ACAP mission is to foster knowledge sharing and networking among Croatian American professionals, encourage Croatian-American business and trade, and work with other Croatian-American and Croatian organizations on matters of common concern.

The planned program for April 22 includes seven-panel session discussions covering Diaspora organizations, medicine, law, politics, engineering, education, arts, and science.

ACAP is addressing all Croatian professionals in North America and their counterparts in Croatia, or any other international Croatians. There are currently about 190 registrants from all over the United States and Croatia. Based on the growing number of new ACAP members joining daily, the ACAP idea appears to be a success.

Founded in 2014, our association consists of professionals in the United States, and around the world, interested in building a lifetime of professional connections to support the business, networking, and social activities of our members.
