Croatian Mural Unveiled in Nebraska, US

The Croatian Community in South Omaha, Nebraska unveiled a wonderful mural on Sunday, reports lokalni.hr. The mural celebrates Croatian history and tradition, and is painted on Bere's Hall at 36th and W streets.

"It's meant to represent the Croatian Community and the three things that really come out through it are work, faith and family", said mural committee member Tom Drzaic.

According to WOWT 6 News, the artwork is also meant to mark the 100th anniversary of the Saints Peter and Paul Parish, and features an image of Cardinal Blase Cupich whose grandfather help procure funding to build the said church in 1917. Cupich will lead a mass in the parish on Thursday, June 29.
