First the best Christmas market in Europe (Zagreb), then the best European destination (Zadar) and now, on April 20, 2016, the best beach in Europe, according to European Best Destinations.
The island of Vis has many natural perks, but it seems that the beautiful and ever photogenic Stiniva beach has reached the top after being voted the best beach in Europe in 2016 by more than 10,000 travellers, after the well-known travel portal European Best Destinations asked people to vote for the best beaches on our diverse and rich continent.
Stiniva beach, on the southern side of the coast, was rated on popular travel website Trip Advisor as the number one attraction on Vis.
Vis managed to outrank some eye-poppingly incredible European beaches including the famous Tossa de mar in Spain, Cala Acciarino in Corsica, Berlanga Island in Portugal and a number of Greece’s stunning beaches, including Kavalikefta beach and Karpathos Island.
