Travel Flybe Announced Flights to Croatian Coast from London Southend
By Paul Bradbury 26 December 2016 More choice for London-area consumers for their routes to the Croatian coast, as Flybe connects London Southend. The number of new flights being announced to the Croatian coast for 2017 shows no sign of abating, and one wonders what the passenger numbers will be next year after what is already a record-breaking year for Croatian passenger numbers. One city with extremely strong connections is London, and Jet2's recent announcement of a connection from Stansted to Split, brings to 47 the number of weekly flights between the two cities in peak season. A little more choice was added to the Dalmatian coast arrival options on December 22, 2016, as it was annnounced that Flybe will connect the British capital's smallest airport, London Southend, with both Zadar and Dubrovnik, with two seasonal flights a week. The flights, operated by Stobart Air, are priced initially at £49.99 one way. The first Dubrovnik flight will take off on May 16, with the Zadar route commencing in May 27.
