Brac, Split, Dubrovnik: Latest New Croatian Flights Roundup

By 27 October 2017

October 27, 2017. It is new flight announcement season in Croatia. The latest roundup of new routes planned for 2018.

More good news for the island of Brac and the slow expansion of its direct international flights to Brac Airport. TUIfly, who began operations this year with direct services from Brussels and Deauville in Normandy, will continue both routes in 2018, lengthening the flight season slightly from Brussels. Flights from Brussels will be each Saturday, from May 12 to October 6, and the Deauville service will run from June 16 to October 6. There will also be a new direct line from Holland, with a weekly Saturday flight from Rotterdam to Brac from May 12 to October 6.

TUIfly will also be connecting Dubrovnik to regional UK airports, with the introduction of two new routes to the Pearl of the Adriatic, from Newcastle and East Midlands.

Polish tourist arrivals are on the rise to Dalmatia, and the airlines are listening. Three more new routes for next summer with Czech carrier Smartwings, will see Polish arrivals in Dubrovnik from Katowice and Warsaw three times a week from May 31 to September 30, and from Katowice to Split from June 2 to September 29. Both routes will operate on Thursdays, from May 3 to October 25.
