The new hotel in Rovinj owned by Maistra group will likely be one of the most luxurious hotels in Croatia
Construction of Maistra's new hotel at the site of the former Hotel Park in Rovinj is progressing as expected, reports Glas Istre on February 13, 2018. While the construction project is quite complex and challenging, everything is going according to plan, announced Kristina Miljavac from Corporate Communications of Adris Group.
The reinforced concrete construction of all six floors was completed earlier this month. At the moment, construction works are underway on the steel framing of the roof and inside the object, along with landscaping works. As soon as the weather becomes more favourable, horticultural works will begin as well, said Miljavac.
Construction of Maistra's latest hotel gem started in September 2017. The former Hotel Park virtually vanished in an incredibly short time span, leaving behind a giant construction site where works on the new hotel are progressing at an impressive rate. The new hotel Park is expected to employ around 100 new workers who will welcome the first guests by the end of this year.
The luxurious hotel is worth more than 600 million kuna, making for the biggest single investment of the Maistra group thus far. Its opening will mark the end of the renovation of the entire Monte Mulini area which houses other hotels owned by Maistra.
The new hotel will have 5+ stars and will likely be one the most luxurious hotels in Croatia. It will dispose of 209 accommodation units, six restaurants, a wellness&spa centre spanning over 3.800 square metres, a shopping promenade located within the hotel complex, and a congress hall. All things considered, the spectacular view of the Old Town of Rovinj only comes as the icing on the cake.
