Martinis Marchi was awarded at the Days of Croatian Tourism currently taking place on Hvar.
October 25, 2018 - The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) and the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) are awarding the best in tourism this year, including the best employees, destinations, companies and the most successful destinations for the Days of Croatian Tourism 2018 in Hvar.
The best in Croatian tourism is currently being awarded in Hvar.
At the awards ceremony on Wednesday, the Croatian National Tourist Board awarded the best in many categories, including Inland Dalmatia as the best destination in rural tourism, Zagreb as the best city break destination, Krapinske Toplice as the best in health tourism, and Sutivan as the most authentic seaside destination.
Coastal paradise Mali Lošinj was proclaimed the most successful destination for a summer holiday, and in continental Croatia, the winner was Zagorje.
The marina at Martinis Marchi has been named the best small marina in Croatia.
But best of all, TCN’s favorite seaside escape was named the best small marina in Croatia. Namely, Martinis Marchi in Maslinica on the island of Šolta sealed the victory for their marina built near the luxurious Martinis Marchi Heritage Hotel & Restaurant.
The marina boasts 50 berths covered with marble, equipped with moorings, electricity and water, and the waterfront can accommodate yachts measuring up to 35 meters - and even larger yachts are welcome on the outer side of the breakwater.
One of the many perks of the Martinis Marchi marina is the outdoor 500-seat amphitheater modeled after theaters from the ancient Greek era.
This is not the first award for Martinis Marchi.
In addition to this prestigious award, Martinis Marchi Marina also won second place at the International Cemex Builder Award for the Best Infrastructure and Urbanism 2012.
