And Now Hvar Culture Invades Venice: Fishermen's Conversations at Venice Arthouse Film Week

For centuries they came from Venice to Hvar, imposing their rule, traditions and culture, the marks of which are still very much in evidence today. 

And finally, a chance to send some culture and tradition in the opposite direction...

Congratulations (once again) to Chiara and the team from Fishermen's Conversations, a beautiful snapshot of the lives of Hvar's fishermen, which has just been selected for the Venice Arthouse Film Week in September 2016. A little bit of Hvar in the heart of the former Venetian empire...

It is the latest endorsement of the short movie which broke all Kino Mediteran records when it was premiered on Hvar in October, and follows inclusion in another film festival in Estonia in recent days.
