One of the most representative symbols of Sinj, a bright sculpture of an Alkar is the work of the academic sculptor Stipe Sikirica. It was set in 1965 at the very beginning of the Alka Tournament Course (Alkarsko trkalište), called Biljeg, a place from which the Alkari start to gallop.
