The Equestrian - Gallop Club Alkar Sinj is organizing a traditional horse race at the Hipodrom in Sinj this Saturday, September 24 from 14h to 19h.
Co-organizers of the event are the town of Sinj, Split-Dalmatia County and Kamičak Ltd.
During the event there will be four races:
1st Race: Sport horses 'Alka bunch' - 1000 meters that includes only the horses taking part in the Alka festivities.
2nd Race: Sport horses 'Maiden' - 1000 meters with the participation of all breeds of horses.
3rd Race: Sport horses 'Alas'
4th Race: At 18h, there will be an international gallop race 'II. Memorial in honor of late Mayor of Sinj Ivica Glavan Iće. The race will be 1600 meters and English thoroughbred horses, 3 years and older, will participate.
Before the races, the international award-winning Sinj majorettes will perform. The organizers are hoping for a large turnout with valuable prizes for visitors. Come one, come all!
