Pink Day Shares Positive Energy among Experts and Tourists

The festival met its own high standards once again and proved itself as an irreplaceable part of table culture promotion and wine enjoyment

This past Saturday the 6th Pink Day took place, an international festival of rose wines powered by Women on Wine (WOW) in the Mimara Museum. Once again it brought together numerous domestic and international producers of scented rose wines and sparklings, but also the best producers of extra virgin olive oils, part of the “festival within a festival” – Green in Pink.

Festival organization is once again signed by the active women’s wine association WOW, together with the IMC agency. As always at Pink Day, visitors enjoyed an excellent atmosphere, with a high demand for tickets. Great interest of media, the full workshops and the high number of visitor once again confirmed Pink Day is not an ordinary one-day festival, but a favorite meeting place for experts, wine admirers and all those who wish to see the world through trademark pink glasses if only for a day.

The festival met its own high standards once again and proved itself as an irreplaceable part of table culture promotion and wine enjoyment, but also as a tourism manifestation. The festival was opened by the envoy of the Mayor of Zagreb, assistant Head of the City Economy, Energy and Environment Department Nela Jurić and Sanja Muzaferija, President of the WOW association and organizer of the Pink Day festival. Along with the cutting of the traditional pink tape, Nela Jurić noted the festival significantly contributes to the tourism appeal of Zagreb, while Muzaferija added Pink Day has become a symbol of pink, positive thoughts, joy, friendship, women and the favorite color of the metropolis.
