HTZ Launches Tourism Promotion Campaign on US Market

ZAGREB, 12 July 2022 - The Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) has launched an advertising campaign in the United States this month to promote the tourism products, attractions and destinations in which American tourists are showing the greatest interest, the HTZ said on Tuesday. The campaign is being conducted until mid-October in cooperation with Expedia, a leading global travel platform that covers over 200 websites in over 70 countries across the globe and which is a very popular tool used by Americans in searching for travel destinations. HNB Governor: Croatian Citizens and Businesses to Benefit from Euro Adoption

ZAGREB, 12 July 2022 - After the Ecofin on Tuesday adopted final three legal acts enabling Croatia to introduce the euro as its currency on 1 January 2023, the national bank (HNB) governor said that the euro area membership would produce concrete, direct and lasting benefits for Croatia's citizens and enterprise sector. Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 1,012 New Cases, 6 Deaths, 888 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 12 July 2022 - In the last 24 hours,  there have been 1,012 new cases of the infection with coronavirus, and another six COVID patients have died, Croatia's COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Tuesday. There are currently 7,354 cases of the infection, and of them, 429 are receiving hospital treatment including 13 placed on ventilators. Since the first registered case of infection with the novel virus in Croatia on 25 February 2020, the country has diagnosed 1,160,253 cases of this infectious disease. July 12, 2022 - The latest flight news to Croatia as 23 of 49 British Airways London-Zagreb flights have been canceled in August.  British Airways significantly reduced the number of weekly flights between London (Heathrow Airport) and Zagreb for July, justifying the move by problems in the industry (lack of staff and capacity). Croatian Residents Spent 8 Billion Kuna on Travel in 2021

July the 12th, 2022 - Croatian residents spent eight billion kuna on travel and trips back during 2021, despite the continuing issues posed by the global coronavirus pandemic during that time.
