Croatian Fuel Prices to Shoot Up Again Unless Government Intervenes

July the 4th, 2022 - Unless the government once again steps in quickly with some measures to mitigate the harsh blow to the pockets of this country's drivers as inflation drags on, Croatian fuel prices are set to shoot up yet again this week. Zadar Airport Traffic: 20% Increase in 2022 Expected Compared to 2019!

July 4, 2022 - Zadar Airport traffic is expected to increase by 20% this year compared to the record-breaking 2019! Number of Croatian Industrial Workers Down M-O-M and Y-O-Y

ZAGREB, 3 July 2022 - The number of industrial workers in Croatia in May 2022 fell by 0.1% from the previous month and by 0.9% from May 2021, according to the national statistical office (DZS). Month on month, the number of workers in mining and quarrying decreased by 0.6%, while the number of workers in the manufacturing industry and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply industry remained unchanged. HALMED: Most Side Effects Not Serious, COVID Vaccine-death Link in Two Cases

ZAGREB, 3 July 2022 - The Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices (HALMED) has published a report on side effects to medicines reported in 2021 which says a majority were not serious and that a link between COVID vaccines and deaths was established in two cases. In 2021, HALMED received 9,966 reports of side effects of medicines and 6,613 reports of side effects to COVID vaccines. Last year, 4.7 million vaccine doses were administered. More Areas Sown with Wheat, Maize, Less with Rapeseed

ZAGREB, 3 July 2022 - It is estimated that the area sown with wheat this year increased by 16,000 hectares to 160,000 (+11.1%) compared to 2021 and that areas sown with maize and soya beans also increased, while those sown with rapeseed and sugar beets decreased, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said this week. The area sown with maize this year was 290,000 hectares (+0.7%) and the area sown with soya beans was 87,000 hectares (+1.2%).
