FlixBus and Čazmatrans Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

ZAGREB, 2 Dec 2021 - The German-based bus company FlixBus and Croatia's Čazmatrans signed a strategic partnership agreement on Thursday. Under the agreement, in the first phase, Čazmatrans and FlixBus will integrate their bus services to provide travelers with greater mobility and availability of Croatian and international destinations. The agreement provides for the digitalization of bus tickets, which will facilitate the online purchase of tickets. €120m Set Aside in Grants to Help Cultural Sector Cope With COVID-19 Crisis

ZAGREB, 2 Dec 2021 - Addressing an international conference on creative industries, Culture Minister Nina Obuljen Koržinek said on Thursday that during the COVID-19 pandemic, over HRK 900 million (€120 million) had been provided for the cultural and creative sectors to help them cope with the corona crisis. The minister said that the government, in cooperation with associations, had responded promptly and drawn up a set of measures to help the creative industry in coping with the consequences of the COVID1-19 pandemic. 475 Amendments Submitted to 2022 Budget Proposal, Parliament Speaker Says

ZAGREB, 2 Dec 2021 - The Croatian Parliament will begin next week's session already on Monday after 475 amendments have been submitted to the 2022 budget proposal, Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković announced at the start of the Parliament session on Thursday.  The amendments will be discussed on Monday and Tuesday and the budget proposal will be put to a vote on Wednesday, Jandroković said. Number of Croatian Industrial Workers Remains Unchanged

ZAGREB, 2 Dec 2021 - The number of Croatian industrial workers in October 2021 remained unchanged from the previous month and fell by 0.4% compared with October 2020, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS). Compared with September 2021, the largest decrease in the number of workers was recorded in the beverage manufacturing industry (-3.7%) and the largest increase in the manufacture of other transport equipment (+4.1%). Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 5,341 New cases, 76 Deaths

ZAGREB, 2 Dec 2021 - In the last 24 hours, 13,928 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Croatia and of them, 38.3% (5,341) have returned positive, whereas another 76 COVID patients have died, bringing the COVID-related death toll to 11,043, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Thursday.
