Agreement on Project Documentation for 288 Houses in Quake-Hit Banovina

ZAGREB, 30 Aug 2021 - Central State Reconstruction and Housing Office state secretary Gordan Hanžek said, after a meeting of the task force dealing with the aftermath of last year's quakes on Monday, that they had agreed on drafting project documentation for 288 houses. "It is for houses issued a yellow or red label, which are designated for reconstruction. Project documentation for the construction of standard replacement facilities has been contracted. Int'l Bjelovar Autumn Fair Expects about 300 Exhibitors

ZAGREB, 30 Aug 2021 - The Bjelovar Autumn Fair, which will be held from 3 to 5 September at the Gudovac fair compounds, will include 300 exhibitors. Local authorities and the fair's executives told a press conference on Monday that the state exhibition of cattle will be held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture.  The fair will be opened by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. SSSH: Collective Deals Enable Greatest Number of Additional Days to Annual Leave

President: If Reconstruction Continues at Current Pace, We Will Lose Petrinja

Croatia Logs 139 New COVID Cases, 6 Fatalities

ZAGREB, 30 Aug 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 139 new coronavirus cases and six COVID-19-related deaths were registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Monday. There are currently 3,014 active cases, including 427 hospitalised patients, 55 of whom are on ventilators. Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the disease was reported in Croatia, 373,330 cases of the infection have been reported and 8,331 people have died.
