Bosnia-Herzegovina Elections to Be Discussed by EU

ZAGREB, November 14, 2018 - The Council of the European Union for foreign affairs will thoroughly analyse the general election held in Bosnia in October in an effort to resolve the problem of the "marginalisation" of Croats in that country and them being put in a "subordinate position," Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said in Parliament on Wednesday, speaking about Bosnia-Herzegovina elections. Croatian Diaspora Business Conference Meeting G2.4 Ends

The Meeting G2.4 "A Look in the Future" conference has concluded. During two days, it brought together at the Forum Congress Centre in Zagreb more than 200 participants, including more than 70 successful businesspeople of Croatian origin from 19 countries. The conference was aimed at creating business links between the diaspora and Croatia and featured seven panel discussions on various topics, numerous networking sessions and a competition of Croatian startups. ZAGREB, November 10, 2018 - The head of the government's Council for Croats outside Croatia, Ivan Grbešić, said on Saturday that Croats outside Croatia had reason to be optimistic as positive steps were visible after 20 years of promises, while Foreign Minister Marija Pejčinović Burić said the government was trying to advance cooperation and ties between Croats at home and in diaspora. The “Meeting G2.4. Look into the Future” conference, aimed at improving business ties between Croatia and Croats living abroad, will bring together successful businesspeople of Croatian origin from 14 countries and four continents and Croatia. ZAGREB, November 4, 2018 - The list called "Croats Together" led by the Croat community's activist Jasna Vojnić, won on Sunday all the seats in the Croatian National Council (HNV), which is the 29-member umbrella organisation that represents the 58,000-strong Croatian community in education, media, culture and the official use of the language in Serbia.
