Tourist Nights in Commercial Accommodation Slump to Pre-2000 Level

ZAGREB, 8 March, 2021 - The number of tourist nights registered in Croatia's commercial accommodation establishments in 2020 was 41 million, falling by 55.3% from 2019, and recessing to levels registered about 20 years ago, according to the data provided by the national statistical office (DZS). March 5, 2021 – As of March 7, 2021, four Croatian counties – Istria, Krapina-Zagorje, Požega-Slavonia, and Bjelovar-Bilogora – won't be on the German list of risky areas anymore. As reported by Romeo Draghicchio, the Croatian National Tourist Board director in Germany, the German Robert Koch Institute of Health removed four Croatian counties from the list of risk areas.
