Flights to Croatia: Ryanair Stops Stockholm to Rijeka, Zagreb New Codeshare on Kenya Airways

December 9, 2019 - The latest news from around Croatia’s airports for new flights to Croatia with updates from Rijeka, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik, Pula, and Zagreb. Avio Radar reports that Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair announced that it would terminate its base at Skavsta Airport near Stockholm, Sweden, and this year’s new base in Nuremberg, Germany. Goodbye, Zimmer Frei: Bol Says No to More Tourist Apartments, Yes to Villas

Record Number of Air Passengers in EU in 2018, Croatia Sees 10% Rise

ZAGREB, December 7, 2019 - In 2018, Croatia was among the EU member states with two-digit increases in the number of air passengers, while at EU level the number was the highest since Eurostat has been keeping records, the EU's statistical office said on Friday. In 2018, 1.1 billion passengers travelled by air in the European Union, up by 6% compared with 2017 and by 43% compared with 2010. In 2018, intra-EU transport represented 46% of total air passenger transport in the EU and extra-EU transport 37%, while national transport accounted for fewer than 1 in every 5 passengers (16%).…

Bosnia to Take Over Control of Its Air Space from Zagreb, Belgrade

Croatian Railways is introducing a new guideline: If your train is more than 60 minutes late, you are entitled to a partial refund or travel voucher. According to Poslovni Dnevnik on December 4, 2019; here's what you’ll need to do to get your partial refund or voucher.
